I like to point out, whenever possible, something really cool related to all things tabletop gaming. I’ve mentioned before how much in love I am with Reaper Minis. I’ve used them as images for some of my encounters posts. I use them every time I come to a gaming table, whether as a player or a DM. I’ve even used them for the covers of my all too rare Mini-Adventures (Ok, so the WarHog Riders are from Mantic. Just call me a Polygamist. But with Gam being short for Game rather than Gamete).
Well they (Reaper) are trying to expand their line in really cool ways through everyone’s favorite crowdsourcing source: Kickstarter. If you ever wanted to get into the miniatures hobby, or just expand your tabletop gaming, this is a great chance with some killer deals.
If you pledge 15 bucks, you get a PILE of enemies you can drop on your players. Seriously, there are enough figures in this set to base an entire campaign around if you’re creative.

That’s less than 50 cents a figure. You do not pay that kind of money for minis ANYWHERE.
You want paint to go with them as you learn the craft?
Tack on 18 bucks and get the best paints on the market for less than half their retail cost:

You want to dive right in, pledge at the level I pledged at:

And they keep adding MORE THINGS to that level as the total kickstart rises. This is killer marketing for a killer product at a killer price. Admittedly, only the Sophie Motorcycle ships right after the kickstarter, everything else you’ll have to wait for early 2013. But that gives you time to get them all painted and ready for your Summer DnD game.
Feel like those sets are missing any kind of big boss?
How about some giants?

How about a giant frakking TWELVE INCH wingspan dragon?

A dragon that size for 10 bucks is unheard of. The original metal version goes for SEVENTY DOLLARS. At 10 bucks, I’ll probably buy three of them depending on what other bonuses get unlocked.
Ok, so you may have caught on that this is just me wanting you to support them so that I get more stuff added. That’s only partially true. Because you will not find a better miniatures company anywhere in the world. Bar None. Full Stop.
